Learning doesn't take place all at one time but continued repetitive exposure may ensure learning and recall. What will your kids learn by seeing you wear this geography apron over and over? Let me know what your kids learn from your geography apron...if you buy one...or two.
Kids learn through visual presentations and hands on work and listening and speaking and repetition. How creative are you at teaching your kids? I tried to make sure all my teaching efforts involve hearing, speaking, seeing, some kind of manual event and repetition. My 3 children were all identified as gifted and talented in elementary school. My 1st granddaughter could do basic reading at 3. My son was astonished (and upset that his kids could not) that at 3 my 1st born granddaughter could read highway signs. He was always challenging her. Also at 3 my 1st granddaughter could use the TV remote to turn on and off the TV and change channels to her favorite programs.
Baby Einstein DVD's really work! So do Tinker Boxes by KiwiCo. I built dozens of child fascinating devices with my granddaughters. They learned to follow directions, review the build instructions, follow diagrams and learn "stuff". I saved nearly every "thing" we built over their elementary years. I've added some photos, not all Tinker Crates.
