Children loooove costumes and colors. A costume is a child’s entry into the magical world of make believe. Here they can become anything or anyone they can image. As my children and grandchildren grew I played many happy counterparts to popular cartoons and cartoon series. I would give anything to go back to those times just once more to play those characters again with my children and grandchildren. I have half a dozen aprons all different. One is a superman, one is a knight in shining armor, one has my coat of arms...
Children grow up and then all the magic is found only in memories and photos. Childhood is like a trip to an enchanted land that only lasts for about 12 years. Will you be the Wizard for your child's journey through childhood?
Children choose colors to represent their personality at that moment of growth. Colors have meaning and power like a large black truck or a red fire engine or a princess’s carriage. Each child wants their own unique color not to be shared with their brothers or sisters. My grandchildren changed colors several times while growing up. Help your child pick their individual personality color. Be sure to have several colors available for your budding personalities. And of course keep those spills and splatters off their clothes!!!!
Note: Please notice the styles are a bit different between color shades. One has a large pocket and the other has a small pocket with a narrower upper.

Here is a photo of me in my kitchen with my sous chef granddaughter baking crew. The 2 next to me are 7 years-old and the 2 in front are barely 3 years old. If you look closely you can see the 3 year-olds each holding a measuring cup ready to practice adding flour to their favorite baking item....cookies. They were my chief-bowl-stirrers while the 7 year-olds were learning to use my mixer in the left rear of the photo.
