I buy meat in family packs and then vacuum pack and freeze them in individual serving sizes that last for months. No need to defrost more meat than will be eaten. And your kids will be fascinated by the entire vacuum packing process. My grandchildren loved to push the buttons and watch the LED lights. Similar to when you get in the elevator with your kids and they press all the floor buttons to the horror of the occupants!!!
